FatWire Rides the European Rails

Mineola-based FatWire Software said a major distributor of European railway tickets has used its content management system in the launch of its redesigned Web site.

Rail Europe has purchased FatWire’s Content Server to run its new Internet home, mainly because the company’s CMS enabled it to deliver content in multiple languages. The CMS also allows Rail Europe to quickly update its site during peak travel times.

Rail Europe links about 400 different railways and other travel option in Europe, and FatWire said more than 100 million American tourists a year purchase tickets from the service.
