Training Specialist
Department: FatWire Education Services
Location: FatWire HQ - Mineola, NY

Responsibilities:

FatWire Software is seeking an energetic, highly-motivated individual to join its FatWire Education Services team. The Training Specialist will work closely with other members of the team to produce and deliver high quality training modules to clients both in-house and on-site at client sites. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills. A successful Training Specialist at FatWire should also possess web development skills and knowledge of web technologies.

The Training Specialist will be reponsible for:

  • Conducting classroom sessions for FatWire’s clients in-house or on-site at client facilities
  • Developing new course material to keep pace with the changes in the product line
  • Maintaining current course materials
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-2 years in Software/Client Services
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Travel: at least 25%
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Professional and amicable demeanor with excellent people skills
  • Web development skills (X/HTML, CSS, JSP, Javascript, or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (Java or similar)
  • Previous teaching/training experience or desire to teach
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Willing to travel
