Fatwire Finds Perch at Cornell
Fatwire's software is for the birds.

The Mineola-based company said it has landed a contract from the prestigious Cornell Lab of Ornithology at Cornell University to build and manage the lab's Web sites and several Web-based projects.

Fatwire Software said the lab's major initiative is to allow bird-watchers and others to quickly and easily submit bird-sighting information from anywhere in the world.

Privately held Fatwire primarily provides content management software for businesses.
