Luxury Brand Chanel Selects Fatwire Software To Manage Its Web Site Content

Mineola, NY - August 8, 2006 - FatWire Software, the leading provider of content management solutions for deploying persuasive Web sites and applications, has been selected by Chanel, one of the most prestigious luxury brands for fashion, fragrances, beauty, skincare, watches and fine jewelry, to enable Chanel to deliver highly targeted and persuasive experiences to its customers, retailer partners and employees.

Chanel’s decision to implement FatWire’s robust Content Server solution reflects a larger trend of the brand’s latest success in persuasive Web Content Management. “With more than 14 worldwide websites to manage and integrate, we found FatWire Software to offer the most valuable solution for our Web Content Management system requirements” said Elizabeth Roney, CIO of Chanel Inc. and Global Program Director.  “Like Chanel, we found the dynamic user environment featured in Content Server to be ahead of its time, enabling us to offer personalized makeup, skincare and fragrance suggestions to our clients, which was particularly relevant to our decision,” Ms. Roney added.

“FatWire is extremely pleased to have been chosen by Chanel, a brand synonymous with luxury and elegance, in enabling Chanel to deploy a tailored Web site that streamlines their worldwide presence while attracting, converting, and retaining customers,” said Ken Delaney, vice president of North American sales for FatWire. “Once implemented, the solution will support the brand’s initiative of delivering the best online experience possible to its clients,” Delaney added.
