FatWire Adds Three Internet Industry Veterans to Lead Business Development
New Hires to Fuel Company's Future Growth

Mineola, NY - June 20, 2000 - FatWire, a leader in content management and developer of the powerful e-business platform, UpdateEngine, today announced the addition of three seasoned professionals to its executive team, continuing the company's commitment to building a world-class, customer-focused business.

The three executives, Frank Russo, chief operating officer; Jim Holleran, vice president of marketing and business development; and James R. Gleason, director of business development, bring more than 65 years of experience from industry leading technology companies such as IBM, Oracle and 3Com.

As Chief Operating Officer, Frank Russo will be responsible for the strategic management of day-to-day business operations, including sales and marketing, business development, accounting and finance. Previously, Russo spent more than four years as president of North American Operations for New Era of Networks, Inc., where he led the company from $0 revenue in 1995 to $120 million in revenue in 1999, while building the sales force from 0 to 75. While at Baxter, a global medical products and services company, Russo was president and CEO of the Systems Division where he facilitated a joint venture between Baxter and the IBM Healthcare Software division.

Named Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Jim Holleran will take FatWire's strategic development and promotional efforts to the next level. Holleran will be responsible for integrating all communications activities including advertising, marketing and public relations, in addition to bolstering FatWire's partnership program to give them a greater competitive edge in the burgeoning e-business marketplace. Prior to FatWire, Holleran developed and published detailed business strategies for several Internet start-ups, was president and CEO of two technology companies with full profit and loss responsibility, and at IBM was national manager of product marketing programs with responsibility spanning the entire IBM product line from PC's to 3090's.

James R. Gleason, director of business development, will be instrumental in building out the partnership program and providing strategic counsel for the direction and growth of FatWire. Gleason's experience includes developing Oracle Consulting's New York "go-to-market" strategy and significantly increasing revenues for three years at KPMG Financial Services Consulting. During his ten years at IBM, Gleason won several "Excellence in Marketing" awards and achieved "Hundred Percent Club" status every year for his eight years in sales. Gleason also spent two years at the IPC Corporation, where he managed major account sales with New York's premier trading floors.
