MINEOLA, N.Y.--FatWire, developer of UpdateEngine - the premiere Web dynamic content management platform for building e-businesses, today announced the addition of Joseph Fabrizio to its executive team.

As senior vice president of client assurance, Fabrizio will be responsible for growing and leading the client services teams to ensure high customer satisfaction rates with all FatWire products and services. Prior to joining FatWire, Fabrizio was a division president of New Era Of Networks (NASDAQ: NEON), a leading provider of e-business enabling solutions, where he managed customer service, client and partner training, quality assurance and product management. At NEON, Fabrizio initially drove the professional services revenues for the startup from $0 to $30 million per year. He also expanded the training business five-fold in six months as he custom-built a series of product and e-commerce courses to increase client's productivity in establishing e-commerce infrastructures, and expanded the operation globally. As head of product management, Fabrizio helped NEON launch their most current products, the Portal and Process Server.

"Joe Fabrizio has proven experience in building and managing an incredibly successful client assurance program," said Frank Russo, chief operating officer, FatWire. "Our organization and our clients are truly going to benefit from this win."

"FatWire already has a talented customer service team in place that is ready and willing to implement more robust support programs for clients," said Fabrizio. Early in his career, Fabrizio founded VISTA Software Inc., providing financial software for emerging markets trading systems; which was later acquired. Fabrizio also held IT positions at IBM, Salomon Brothers and MG Bank. He received his bachelor's degree from Pace University.

This is the latest in a series of new executive hires for FatWire. Recently, the company named Frank Russo chief operating officer, Jim Holleran senior vice president of marketing and business development, Jay McGlynn senior vice president of sales, and James R. Gleason director of business development to its executive team.
