FatWire Names Robert Rodriguez Vice President of Sales

MINEOLA, NY - FatWire Corporation, a leading provider of dynamic content management software and developer of the powerful e-business platform UpdateEngine, today announced the addition of Robert Rodriguez as its Vice President of Sales for the Northeast region. As Vice President of this division, Mr. Rodriguez will be responsible for sales to all Fortune 1000 companies headquartered in the Northeast.

"Robert Rodriquez's marketing and sales experience with technology companies in the Northeast region makes him an ideal addition to the FatWire sales team," said Jay McGlynn, FatWire's Sr. Vice President of Worldwide sales. "His long standing relationships in the financial services industry will prove valuable as we grow our presence in this key market."

Prior to joining FatWire, Mr. Rodriguez was vice president and general manager for Nortel Networks Financial Industry Vertical. In that role he was responsible for Nortel's worldwide sales, marketing, and technology solutions for financial service companies. Rodriguez joined Nortel Networks in 1998 when Bay Networks merged with Nortel. He was vice president of sales at Bay, where he directed sales, marketing, and service efforts for the northern region. Prior to assuming the role as northern region vice president, Rodriguez was director of sales for Bay's New York operations.

Before joining Bay Networks in 1994, Mr. Rodriguez held several senior management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and AT&T in the New York market focused on the financial industry.

Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. John's University and has completed numerous technical and advanced business courses at St. John's, Brown University, and MIT.

This is the latest in a series of new executive hires for FatWire. Recently, the company named Frank Russo chief operating officer, Jim Holleran senior vice president of marketing and business development, Jay McGlynn senior vice president of sales, and Joe Fabrizio senior vice president of client assurance to its executive team.
