FatWire Powered ListenUp.com, Honored with Golden Web Award

Mineola, NY -- FatWire is pleased to announce that The International Association of Web Masters and Designers (I.A.W.M.D.) has chosen one of their clients, www.ListenUp.com, as a recipient of a 2001-2002 Golden Web Award. The Golden Web Award recognizes the creativity, integrity and excellence of Web sites. ListenUp.com was built with FatWire Software's UpdateEngine5 dynamic content management solution.

With FatWire's 100% Java ebusiness assembly system, ListenUp.com can exchange information fast and easily between three major entities - consumers, retailers and manufacturers. The advanced capabilities of UpdateEngine5 allowed ListenUp.com to build a site that expertly controls how their product lines are to be sold, directs customers to their Denver, Boulder and Colorado Springs store-fronts, and expedite transactions to ultimate fulfillment.

"We are thrilled that ListenUp.com has been awarded this honor," said Mark Fasciano, CEO of FatWire. "It is our goal to build the most advanced ebusiness Web application assembly tools and it is great when an organization such as I.A.W.M.D. recognizes the achievements of these dynamic Web sites."

"Using FatWire's UpdateEngine5 to build our site allowed us unmatched flexibility, scalability and speed to market," said Walt Stinson, President and Co-Founder of ListenUp. "With FatWire's advanced content management system we are now able to fulfill our mission to build the very best site in home entertainment systems and to be at the forefront of the consumer electronics revolution."

The Golden Web Award sites were judged and scored in three primary categories: Design, Content and Originality. Judges consisted of I.A.W.M.D. members who volunteer their time to visit and score the Web sites submitted. Only the best sites were voted to receive the Golden Web Award. The criterion for winning remains a challenge to even the best Webmaster, artists and designers.
