FatWire Software and imc2 Partner to Build Site for American Diabetes Association

MINEOLA, N.Y. - FatWire Software, a leading provider of dynamic content management and developer of the powerful Web application assembly system UpdateEngine5, and imc(2), an industry-leading Internet services firm, today announced a new strategic partnership. imc(2) will use UpdateEngine5 to update and manage the content of the entire American Diabetes Association's Web site (www.diabetes.org) with greatly improved business user access, security and workflow. Under the agreement, FatWire will be responsible for supporting imc(2) during the initial rollout and then assume support for ADA as the end user.

"We chose FatWire to help us update and manage the content of the ADA site for two key reasons. First, the ADA site is huge - literally thousands of pages requiring frequent updating and ADA needs a robust software tool to handle content management on this scale. Second, there are many different affiliates and ADA personnel who require the ability to update content on virtually a daily basis. UpdateEngine5 has the user access and security to enable ADA to successfully manage their complex updating process," said Jack Owen, senior vice president of imc(2). "The ADA will get more functionality at a lower cost in less time by powering their site with FatWire's UpdateEngine."

"imc(2), who works with their clients to develop interesting and effective interactive strategies, has a very mature development methodology and a top team of advanced Java developers, which make for a great partnership," said Jim Holleran, FatWire's Sr. VP of Marketing and Business Development. "The combination of imc(2)'s strategic vision and UpdateEngine's scalability and flexibility easily complement the needs of the American Diabetes Association, and make this a truly exhilarating project."
