FatWire's UpdateEngine6 Runs on BEA WebLogic Platform 7.0 To Provide Increased Web Services and Faster Deployment

MINEOLA, N.Y.--FatWire Software, a leader in dynamic content management and developer of the powerful Web application assembly system UpdateEngine6 (UE6), today announced support for BEA Systems' (Nasdaq: BEAS) BEA WebLogic Platform 7.0(TM) to increase its Web services offerings.

Today's announcement supports the general availability of BEA WebLogic Platform 7.0, the industry's first unified application infrastructure platform.

With BEA WebLogic Server(TM) 7.0, FatWire can leverage Web services standards to further extend and enhance the inter-operability of its UpdateEngine6 dynamic Content Management software with other third party applications. Additionally, deployment of FatWire's 100% Java products is easier and faster with WebLogic Server 7.0.
