Jupiter Gives FatWire's UpdateEngine the Highest Rating in Openness of Technology

On Page 4 of Jupiter Media Metrix's latest report CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
"Achieving Enterprise Efficiency", FatWire's UpdateEngine received the Highest Rating in Openness of Technology.

Additionally, the report had some terrific statements regarding FatWire's UpdateEngine5.

"Content management solutions take the form of either applications (full-featured software that abstracts the functionality of the solution through a graphical or browser-based interface) or toolsets (a group of programming interfaces and features through which a solution can be designed and implemented). For instance, Vignette's V5 toolset essentially provides a programming environment in which a development staff can create sets of templates and workflow rules for content creators to use. In contrast, FatWire's product offers a user-friendly Web-based interface built in, allowing business users to start more quickly and reduce implementation time and cost. In general, toolset systems provide power and flexibility but require a greater outlay of internal or contracted development, whereas application products reduce time to market and development costs."
