Melville, NY -- July 14, 2004 -- Long Island (LI) Invest, Inc., a not-for-profit organization based on Long Island, today announced the complete list of companies that have registered to present at LI Invest 2004 on September 23, 2004 at the Melville Marriott. The companies have an average market capitalization over $3 billion. LI Invest's mission is to promote economic development on Long Island through an annual investor conference. LI Invest 2004 will be the first independent investor conference to bring together public and private companies with local interests and the financial community.

LI Invest 2004 will present their perspectives in, "A View From The
Street: Hear What Top Wall
Street Analysts Are Saying." Lunch panelists include Dr. Reni Benjamin,
Senior Biotechnology Analyst at Rodman and Renshaw; Robert Maire,
Principal
Semiconductor Analyst at Needham & Company; James McIlree, Vice

and Defense and Diversified Technology Analyst at Unterberg, Towbin; and

New Advisory Board Member Announced
The Advisory Board for LI Invest continues to play an active role in
guiding the organization and assisting with its progress. LI Invest is
proud to announce that Neil M. Kaufman has been appointed to LI Invest's
Advisory Board. Mr. Kaufman has extensive experience in the New York
City
and Long Island legal and business communities. He is the founder and
senior
partner of Kaufman & Associates, LLC, a corporate and securities law
firm
that provides representation for public and private companies,
investment
banking and brokerage firms, venture capitalists, banks and other
financial
institutions.
Mr. Kaufman also serves as a Director and Secretary of the Long Island Capital Alliance, formerly known as the Long Island Venture Group; Chairman of the Banking and Securities Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association; a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Dolan DNA Learning Center of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory; and a member of the Corporate Board Member - Korn/Ferry International Next Generation Director 1000 Program. He formerly served as chairman of the board of Vizacom Inc., a publicly-held software and technology solutions company.
LI Invest's Advisory Board has grown since its inception less than a year ago to include four influential local leaders. On the Advisory Board, Mr. Kaufman joins Michael Breit, a Partner of the Long Island office of Ernst & Young; Andrew Krieger, a renowned and highly respected local financier with 35 years experience in the financial community and securities industry; and Herman Fialkov, a Special Partner of Newlight Associates and a pioneer in the high technology and venture capital fields.
