Content Server Courses

FatWire Education Services provides FatWire customers and business partners with comprehensive training on the FatWire Content Server product suite. Courses include hands-on experience and extensive courseware materials, including presentations, lab examples, and workbooks.

Courses are offered at FatWire's main office in Mineola, New York. In addition, on-site training can be scheduled as requested. This 2-day course covers features and functionality introduced in the 6.3 and 7.0 series of Content Server. It is meant to bring current customers up-to-speed on enhancements and new additions to the Content Server Product Suite.

This two-day course is designed to develop and enhance the skills and techniques needed to administer and manage Content Server Suite of products.

Students will learn how to build and configure a site, add asset types, users, roles, and permissions, build a workflow, schedule publishing events, and learn many other core features available in Content Server (and the Content Server family of products). A series of "hands-on" laboratory exercises will focus on learning the commonly used techniques and practices in Content Server administration and management.

This two-day course is designed to further enhance the skills and techniques needed to design, configure, and manage Enterprise Content Management solutions using the Content Server Suite of products.

Students will learn the core features available for content modeling, enterprise integration, caching strategies, and presentation techniques (dynamic and static publishing). Advanced Content Server features, recommended best practices, and performance tuning tips are also discussed.

This five-day course is designed to develop and enhance the skills and techniques needed to implement Web Content Management solutions using the Content Server Suite of products.

Students receive an overview of the core features available with the Content Server application and utilize each of these features in the development of a basic solution designed specifically for this training course. This course focuses on the implementation of this design, beginning with the creation of a Content Management site in Content Server Advanced interface. Students are introduced to basic terminology, content modeling (Asset Data models), page design and caching techniques, and the most commonly used Content Server custom JSP tag libraries through a series of hands-on lab exercises.

The customized end-user course is intended to train business users on a specific Content Server implementation. Since every client implementation tends to be unique in some way, this course is a custom class built by FatWire Education Services with the help of client personnel.

This course is intended for users of the content management system who are responsible for the creation and management of web site content. Students are led through a series of hands-on lab exercises that are designed to help familiarize students with the content management process and Content Server’s editorial interface, otherwise known as the Dashboard interface.

We provide a collaborative learning environment, encouraging discussion on business solutions. Through an intuitive and practical approach, students can quickly learn the various modes of interacting with Content Server for managing content.
