The customized end-user course is intended to train business users on a specific Content Server implementation. Since every client implementation tends to be unique in some way, this course is a custom class built by FatWire Education Services with the help of client personnel.
This is typically done in 2 phases:
Phase I: Course Development
A FatWire instructor goes on-site and interacts with developers, architects, and/or administrators to become familiar with the client specific implementation. An average of 8 days (5 days at the client site or remote + 3 days remote) is recommended for discovery and development of course materials, which include a course booklet with step-by-step lab exercises and presentation slides. This is usually done in interaction with business users and developers.
A dedicated environment for custom training provided by the client is also required.
Phase II: Train the Trainer
If the client has a designated training resource, then the FatWire instructor works with the resource to handover the custom course material. Teaching techniques and further customization options are also discussed. Duration: Approximately 2-3 days.
and/or
End-User Training Delivery
The FatWire instructor returns to the client site to deliver the custom training to end users. Duration: Approximately 1-2 days, depending on the complexity of the implementation.
