FatWire
Content Integration Platform
The FatWire Content Integration Platform™ enables organizations to get more from their content by seamlessly accessing content assets across the enterprise and publishing them to websites managed by FatWire Content Server, and providing the tools they need to manage web content to enterprise standards. Based on a web services, peer-to-peer architecture, the FatWire Content Integration Platform offers powerful capabilities for accessing content of all types from EMC Documentum, Microsoft SharePoint, and Windows and Unix file systems, for fast and efficient publishing online. Content from FatWire sites can also automatically be retained in EMC Documentum for retrieval and business policy compliance.
Overview
Harness the full power of your content for use on the web
Timely, compelling content is essential for creating an engaging web experience for online audiences and remaining competitive today. However, many organizations cannot take full advantage of content assets such as documents, images and videos, since this content is stored in disparate, isolated repositories, with no means of access for use online. The FatWire Content Integration Platform solves this problem by enabling organizations to access any content from these repositories and publish it online directly from the FatWire Content Server interface.
Enable retention and retrieval of web content
The FatWire Content Integration Platform also enables web content to be automatically copied from FatWire to Documentum for retention and retrieval purposes. Published content, user-generated content, metadata, and renditions used on FatWire Content Server websites can be automatically copied to Documentum. When content is copied, a workflow is triggered in Documentum to apply the appropriate transformation and retention policies to this content. Users can then retrieve this content via their familiar Documentum query and search tools. This important integration enables organizations to apply management and retention processes consistent with their business policies to web content, and enable retrieval of content based on date, type, and more.
